Then he's an asshole :V Space Marines are mid-tier at best, but if your bring three Stormravens loaded with whatever and call it a day, you're an asshole x3 No army is inherently OP...save for maybe the older Grey Knights, but I don't know much about what has changed about them in their new codex other than that they no longer control the Inquisition (gud)...

They actually got really hurt by one of the changes to challange rules(grey knights)
I can't tell you how many times i've wiped out 90% of his 750 point list , only to have resurrection protocol bring back every one.

I was made to buy new dice for my Necrons after we played a 5K v 5K Apocalypse game, DE and `Crons Vs Sisters and Skittles Eldar. I didn't loose a single model permanently. They put my dice in the microwave. -____-

These have changed in design since i last saw em used in DoW1 o.o

Yeah, DoW1 came out at the height of the Necron's old codex, and so they use all of THOSE units with THOSE designs. Wraiths and Spyders have changed drastically, with wraiths looking more like gigantic, terrifying, floating centipedes, instead of just clawed, floating, warriors. The necrons also lost the Pariah, but instead gained the Lychguard and Praetorians, which behave similarly, but are notably different in the fluff. The C'tan have also changed in both use and story, with different builds allowing you to use pretty much the whole pantheon instead of just The Deceiver and The Nightbringer.

I'm weirdly OK with them :V Like I said, you now have access to the entire pantheon of C'tan, so that's a modelling dream for me. Taking a little emphasis off the C'tan puts a little more emphasis on the Necron characters too. I know people miss the old mindless killing machines, but that describes literally every faction in the setting other than the tau, so I'm happy to see some personality and motives injected into the upper echelons, while the rank-and-file necrons are still the unstoppable, unrelenting, unthinking, killers.

The oldcrons and newcrons for me can exist side by side. If they fuck up the awakening process they end up as terminator style killbots, so it doesn't completely retcon their existence. While i don't like tesseract pokeballs the necrons 'four monoliths with a c'tan in the middle' is a bitching superheavy.

Surprisingly small x3 They're maybe an inch and a half off the ground, and they're thin enough to fit on a 60mm base.
