Miss Ja'f'darwe Ræha'ahna - Close-up
(Note: This character appears in my novel, "Daggers of Darkness - Into the Black".)
Here's a close-up of Miss Ja'f'darwe Ræha'ahna ("Raeha'ahna", if the special text character doesn't display properly), the Élendorian woman who was the diplomatic attaché the went to Mûr Zhæn with James and crew on Nightwing.
In this view, if this was in color, it would be a darker leaf green (about like that of holly leaves), though after scanning, it looks darker than the original. Her stripes are a darker brown (about like a pair of well-used and somewhat wash-faded pair of jersey gloves), and the rest of her skin is a light green. The irises of her eyes are goldish-green with brownish striations. Miss Ja'f'darwe stands about 5 ft. 6 in. tall, so she's a little shorter than average (by comparison, Sa'n'sriel Læree'ahna is 5 ft. 11 in. tall). You can see the oval-shaped ear membrane on the side of her head.
I used my 0.5 mm mechanical pencil with HB lead, a 2B graphite stick, various blending and shading tools, on Georgia-Pacific "Everyday Copy & Print" paper.
Art, character(s), and story © 2013-2014 Ronald J. Lebeck (that's me).
