Backstory:

As with most if not all demons of Telurth, Velial was at one point a normal woman, presumably human, though some say she used to be a tieran considering her home nation of Tepestria. But little is known of her past and how she came to be the creature she is now.

Her objectives are unclear as very few ever encounter her or even witness her acts in full. But it is believed that she is responsible for the kidnappings that have been plaguing the Tepestrian and Jerim countryside. Children go missing one night, only for them to turn up a few days later transformed into either a hybrid creature such as a mermaid or centaur, or something far more sinister and horrifying. The worst part is that not even the greatest of healers can undo what the demonic magic has done to the children, leaving them permanently stuck in whatever form the demon left them in.

Thus was how The Blood Corrupter recieved her title, from warping the normal human body and blood with her dark, twisting magics. As for her name... it's believed she named herself partly after a terrible series of legends she read about earlier in her life. Legends no one dare speak about, in fear that she may manifest the horrors of those stories into reality, bringing about more twisted transformations than what she already does.

Doing her bidding is a fiendish swordsman known as Saint Arguston, a monster of man who assists her with kidnapping children and serving as the front for her activities. It wasn't until a young woman named Nora came forth and stood against him did they finally encounter their first problem. And Nora was no pushover... great with agility, well trained with the sword, and dedicated to stopping Saint Arguston and Velial at all costs.

While Nora fought bravely against her activities, it is not yet known just how successful she was against Velial. But with so many problems arising and unexpected means of transformation becoming a reality in recent times, many believe that the demoness still lurks in the shadows. Whether to steal someone away to have her way with them or even corrupting modern technology to serve her purpose, the threat of Velial still exists to bring terror to whomever she wishes.
