SO I finally did it ^^ I'll draw the feral form some other time, but I had a lot of fun doing this and it was a well needed break from other things, and just has me energized now to finish the rest of my commissions!
Hope its okay, and thanks for all the support guys.
Name: Umbra Atramentum
Species: A cross between dragon, canid, and corvid. Ill use the unimaginative name of a Dracorid for now
Age: You can guess how old I am
Gender: lol I hope its obvious within reason
Color: Light grey with black markings, feathers and scale plates. Red glowy bits in between plates... cause I dunno?
Eyes: Slitted pupil, red iris
Clothes: I actually own those clothes and wear them together like that, jacket, grey shirt, and 3/4 cargo pants
Wearable Accessories: I do have earrings, just one on either ear, prescription glasses for Irlens syndrome, and the necklace I also own.
Other accessories: My Wabcom bamboo tablet, and art book!
Likes: Puppies, moths (especially the fuzzy kind) most cute, silly or dopey looking things, cheesecake, pavlova, buttered potato, well... butter on almost anything. The rain. Computer games, sports, sports cars, medieval things, and swords.
Dislikes: Meanies. Cake, muffins, waffles, cupcakes, crumpets or any other fluffy goodness derivitive. Bright things, including neon. Marysues, martyrs, godmodders. The ocean. The cold.

ah, thanks for the correction
irregardless it's a very interesting character. and, just to express the feeling after quite a few instances of this happening from the various chars i've browsed on FA, the likeliness is probably amplified further by the similar character structuring.
"white shadow" theme, implementation of cybernetic augmentation, symbolism of hierarchy by means of neck accessory (biological or otherwise)
hell, we've even got the same tablet.

Two, rawn blade got it right, they start above the eyes, head back, then sharply curve back to just around the neck area. I might post a pic of how the horns lok in more detail so its a bit more clear :) But thats why it probably looks like the ear is covering up another bit
Aww, thanks! You flatter me! ^///^
And actually, I surprised myself after I made Raythe: I have always cut my hair short irl, and after I designed Raythe's hair, I fell in love with the look. So, I've grown my hair out irl, and now it's dyed a nice shade of red (or rather, it was, I need to redye it. xD).

Oooh really? If you have any examples of the inspiration thoughts that would be cool to have a look at!
To be honest I designed the scales as an adaption of what I imagined in the feral form. Like I wanted the scales at the chest to sort of reflect ribs, and some cool thigh scales cause why not... and as standard with my shadow dragon stuff, red glowies XD
THanks though I really appreciate it!

lol wasnt on purpose really, I saw a trailer for Deus Ex a couple years ago, but thats all I got to see of it, loved it though! Wanted to play it, but was in a position where games were possible for me at the time. I eventually forgot about it, but someone else in the comments section actually brought it up! Will be thinking about going and getting it now, but to be honest, I just like most things that are gothic armor inspired, so the nice and layered and pointy, dark, and of course, black just goes hand in hand with red! XD especially with the glows!
THe red and black scales are also supposed to be a reflection of Zendars shadow dragon I made, both are characters I invented a long time ago, here's the dragon http://www.furaffinity.net/view/14454645/
So yeah, all in all, its probably an influence over a lot of things in my life, for the most part just anything high fantasy :D
Thanks for letting me know about this comparison though, gives for good discussion! :D

Thats fair enough, thanks for letting me know, I very much welcome advice or critisism! :D I often have trouble with a 'flowing' pose too, so perhaps I should have pulled the shoulders down to look a bit more relaxed you recon? :)
Also the black plates are dragon scales, and the red glowy its are like a membrane over a gap with the glowy red is like a reflection of a furnace or energy on the inside. It was also an excuse to do some dragony effect I put in my shadow dragons a lot such as this http://www.furaffinity.net/view/14454645/
I just wanted to keep trend with that effect seeing as they are my favourite kinds of dragons I make ^^
And thankyou so much for the lovely comment and interesting questions! :)
