Athena the…gorgopod? gastrogorgon? I dunno, she’s a gorgon with a slug theme rather than a snake theme. I was doodling and she came out. Not sure if she’ll be back again, but I like to imagine her as one of the denizens of hell in my imagined southern gothic hell story. Probably a social rival of Kitty Scratch, someone who would be invited to Kitty’s cotillion because she comes from an old, well-established family who can’t be slighted but then she and Kitty spent the whole night sniping at one another. Although, unlike Kitty who’s a spoiled bitch, I imagine Athena is quite nice to people she’s not feuding with.
