the story doesn't really suggest foxy did it .. that is more a fan speculation and fan stories

but what the game does establish is the animatronic love the children , it was explained in the game that the animatronics only seem to have a problem with the adults ... supposedly because they know some one is being hurting the children


i don't think mangle would have attack a children because of this ..but .. i do believe she could have attack the killer or an adult by accident . while in front of all the children and their parents

which in my opinion it would be more tragic if she was only defending the children but they had to take her down because of this

I guess, but I don't know if she'd defend children after they continuously ripped her apart to me her protecting them doesn't add up

well to be fair and to put some perspective ... the children are just toddlers ..and mangle is still is one of the biggest animatronics around .. taking that into consideration ... i don't think the children really did that much damage to her ...

i mean.. what can a bunch of children between the age of 1 to 3 years can actually do to damages one of this machines ?

perhaps.. dislocate one or 2 part because the machine wasn't meant to be carrying multiple children around .. but ripping her apart? naaa



no, i think her current state is the result of the employees decision to transform her into a " build it yourself attraction"

.. they probably where the ones who ripe her apart and throw a few more pieces of another animatronic so they didn't have to fix her every time she went out

Yeah that is why I thought that the theory, that foxy or any animatronic bit the criminal who kidnapped the children because they want to save them and now they don't trust any adults anymore, is the most realistic one. But that is just my opinion. Thank you for the answer anyways

People are increasingly thinking it was mangle, so this is accurate.

It makes sense, because the Bite happens morning of day 7 of FNAF 2 - and in FNAF 2 Foxy and the other old animatronics are supposed to be in storage and whatnot. So for him to have done it would have meant a full on attack, but the bite seems more like an unexpected event. (something only something that can crawl on the ceiling could do?) :p

Well, I would agree in that Mangle was the reason behind the bite of 87 as if you recall, All the New animatronic in the 2nd game are scrapped but the original ones are still around for the 1st game. Why would someone leave a robot that took a chunk of brain out operational? Then lets look at the game it's self. Mangle's Teeth are more apt at taking a bite out of someone, then there is the fact that when the Mangle attacks the player, she attacks from above, taking out the head, the others just jump you. Not to mention, what other robot would have the most motivation to end it all, to end the endless days of constantly being pulled apart and stuck together, beaten, stepped on, thrown, as well as ungodly other things happen to her?

Oi, I'd say this has got to be one of if not the best Mangle fan art I've seen. The colors are wonderfully done as is the rendering of the fur. The more realistic, organic appearance of her head and the machinery visible for her neck and left eye creates a wonderfully eerie contrast - especially compared to the cartoonish, mascot-like appearance she has in the games. She became my favorite rather quickly. Honestly I just thought she was adorable.

Concerning the Bite of '87, I've not read much into fan-theories, but from piecing things together on my own I've figured that Mangle is the most likely culprit.
