I'm sure at least a few locals saw the wobbly, tip-toeing, nearly-naked redhead wandering around the yinglet district.

And I have actually wanted to draw a bucktoothed human like this for a while, and it just made too much sense not to do it here.

This is quite excellent and humorous, It's nice to see things can go both ways. I find it interesting how she kept her yinglet accent, but the accent gets changed to yinglet going the other way.

Yeah; the yinglet shell-tooth gets in the way for anyone trying to pronounce the "-th" syllable, but even though he/she can now pronounce it, that doesn't mean she will suddenly change the speech pattern she's always used!

There are a lot of yinglets that would do exactly that!

On the other hand, a whole lot don't consider it a speech impediment; it's just the way they talk! This is one of those types.

Yinglets tend to be pretty nonchalant about unexpected things happening.

"Hey look at zat, Adel's set himself on fire, ha ha ha! Hm, I should probably get somezhing to eat. Wait, Adel had za food bag! Oh well, guess I'm having broiled clams, zen."

She hasn't even begun to consider the deeper implications of her new situation; she's still on the "Something funny happened. Ha ha" stage, which she'll be for quite some time.

The only downside to the equation is that the only food there is to steal from a yinglet is foods that yinglets eat.

Thankfully, this isn't an issue for the city's newest female human resident for some reason.
