NOTE: Due to FA's derp policty of 10mb limit this song was heavily compressed and is now 'noisy' with static type sounds in background x.x I'm currently trying to locate the original uncompressed version of this song so I can re-compress it safely without the excess noise embedded in it. Sorry if this makes the song sound like a mess but its the only version I have for now. That is all, hope you enjoy the song.
Back in 2009 I noodled around with effects and junk in garageband but I didnt create anything until this song arose spontaneously as it was played. I will state also this song actually was made prior to the others in my scraps gallery but I uploaded those first to let 'The Serpent Awakens' be the very last I posted from my 2009 era. This song arose in part with the assistance of a psychedelic substance that is also native to this planet earth.
Now before you run off saying 'oh noes drug induced junk you arent a real musician!' realize something. First of all, the substance I was on was perfectly natural and given to me through legal means. Second of all, it was only a very moderate dose and the reason I even share that information is to show what can happen in these states of mind in relation to creativity and the functioning of the brain. I also try not to do such things when making music these days as I feel it can detract from the true sound that I could have produced in an otherwise sober mindset.
If I were to try and use a substance again to inspire music it would likely be something given by the earth and also be known to be safe. In other words, you'll rarely if ever see me fully create music when under the influence of something like alcohol. Singing or playing music when drunk is one thing (and fun!) but creating new music when drunk? I try to avoid doing such when drunk. That is just my preference personally though. X3
Also I am most certainly NOT condoning the use of such substances but what I am saying is that if someone is going to utilize them in some form then at least on occasion try to utilize them towards something that makes you think and feel what you are doing and not just whatever you choose to 'trip out' on.
I'd also like to state that this entire song was improvised and played on the spot in one single take. I had a few instances where people tried to get me to stop playing mid song (where there are sudden stopped moments in the song is where I had to keep my fingers on the keyboard, and re-start playing). The only additional editing done to this song is towards the very end where theres a spacey 'outro' sound played at the last second; this was added after the initial synth was recorded. I also vowed that after this song was created I would NEVER use the same synth effect to create another song again so it stayed unique and personal to this very song and ever since I've kept to that. :)
These days I've also moved away from garageband since early 2011 and now I'm utilizing Cubase 5<3 and other software which has been invaluable to recent work. I feel content finally showing this here and for some time I thought I never would but in light of a few inspirational people and situations lately I'm throwing what I've created out there for all to see.

I do have links to my soundcloud pages on my profile. Issue now is that I need to find the original version of this song which is somewhere in my archives.
The issue with this version came from something I didnt understand at the time but now know how to correct. If I can just find the original lossless version now DX
