how's that for an insane song title?
This was a work designed to have a bit of a healing effect on the listener and provoke a slight altered or trance-like state throughout it. Personally I feel many forms of music have the potential to heal the body even if they were not created to do such; strings and piano for instance, resonate in a way that provokes the brain to think and focus and 'space out' while remaining active. Through understanding how music works on the entire brain perhaps we can begin to create more effective means of using it to treat and even cure disease through sound alone.
Sound crazy? Think of it like this, the cells in our body require water to hydrate a good portion of the time along with other proteins and enzymes that are vital. IF water is the 'grid' through which information is carried and we can begin to make that information that is carried conduct itself in a more cohesive or 'crystalline' fashion then the cells in our body can heal more rapidly as a result.
When I use the term 'crystalline' i mean that information is carried more sharply and swiftly. Its the difference between sending light through a window screen that could be dirty or breakable compared to sending light through a diamond. Think of it on those terms and you can see what i'm getting at here ;)
All in all, this type of musical work fascinates me and I will be doing more healing works like it in due time. Let me know what you guys think of this stuff! :)
