She can't go outside without a retinue for protection, as per the new Yinglet customs. Hmm, Isher and Elim might count as a proper guard. Maybe she can go shopping for sandals or socks or something to put on her tail. Once you put on one bit of fancy clothing, it never stops.
It's DRESS UP TIME!
Poor Kass. She may just be responsible for starting a whole new Yinglet fashion trend by example. Soon Yinglets will be clamoring for their own special outfits. Within a month, the First Annual Sal Valia Yinglet Fashion show will take place.
And this outfit will probably catch Grazzel's eye indeed.

A good lot of other Ivenmoth recruits may have mixed feelings about this; wearing the Ivenmoth Red is a sign of authority in the city, so some might feel that a yinglet running around wearing the uniform could lower the House's reputation, and no doubt there's going to be a few low-level recruits that won't feel very proud being outranked by a yinglet.
Who knows that kind of response the local yinglets will have, though~

HA! I know it! but here's a little something to help with the all the lemons life throws around. https://www.youtube.com/watch?annot.....;v=VA1yE3WzmvI
"You see new recruits, all it took for Kassen to get the promotion he wanted was a degrading transformation into a female yinglet to advance his career. What is the morale recruit?"
"I don't understand, sir."
"Some sacrifices to advance your career aren't worth it. I understand the house staff has made some new frillys for him to wear. That is all, recruits."

They GET to wear red! Being clad in the well-known shade of Ivenmoth Red is a sign of (semi) authority and a steady paycheck!
It was briefly popular to wear similar-looking styles and color shades to fool others into thinking one is part of House Ivenmoth, but it became very unpopular after the first public execution for doing so.

I've still got a good number of things I want to improve on and/or learn, and when I started the OOPs it was half just to keep myself drawing and trying new things!
So yes, even though it can benefit a comic to stick to a firm style, this is partly a personal "art growth" project for me, so I'll use the opportunity to try different things.
Isher has had 3 styles of eyebrow, on that note.

Still new to this series, but thought I would leave another comment.
Glad to see that I was (so far) wrong about Elim growing away from, Kassen. Still though, I can't help, but feel that this might a bit awkward form him observing his friend going through these changes while being support of it. I'm glad he's actually trying because terrible friends wouldn't be by their friend's side in hard times like these. Which makes me happy to see this interaction play out the way it has...
Still though, I would like to see Elim get in on the transforming fun ;)

I noticed Yannit playing with Isher's hair. Oh! I mean, headwires.
I was gonna say there isn't anything bad about the outfit they made for Kass, but considering the way those women look at her like two girls about to play dress up with their cute, little dog, I can understand why Kass is pleading for help. I'd almost agree with the seamstress on the right, but Kass is a little disheveled for me to consider her "adorable."
