The Abacus Press editions did have a complete story-line, from beginning to end, with all plotlines and conflicts resolved; in that sense, the comic was indeed finished.
There was a hint of further stories to come... but that was all. I wish there had been more.

A thoroughly grotesque art style and a thoroughly unmemorable storyline... but the hero did at least have his own thoroughly banal theme song.
