Neat pose! I prefer this one better because there is more scenery. :D

The image itself is well done, but I feel like the balance of the image is off. Like, there should have been more space in the direction that he's looking, rather than behind him. This would give more attention to the spear head, his center of gravity and everything in between. So for the cropping, I'd have cropped the right side of the pic, just before his raised knee. That way, its a more centered piece and you preserve more of the scenery. Otherwise, everything looks great!
