Wow, that's a really lovely style! I don't often comic styles, but this one looks so.......... I guess I would say, no too comic-like :b The whole image concept is just very pleasing, the side angle, the lovely eyes, and also that well shaped triangle-nose =3 All together with this happy, relaxed expression makes this a great portait!
