How can any sport end in a 0-0 tie? Only in 'football' or 'soccer' (however you prefer to call it) can people get so worked up to nearly riot states for a tie game where nobody wins... or loses. But when someone scores in even the slightest questionable manner- look out!
This dingo and roo argume it out, but they should take careful note of the numbat referree at their feet who is watching the time. Who will get the yellow card? Only time will tell.

goldfur and get a subscription today. Really. Do it. Now I need to draw more pics for the trib before the deadline. I hope Goldfur likes this pic and can use it for his book.

I was going through SFL and saw one of your old stories there- oh boy- maybe five years ago. Pouch stuffing contest and you finally got pouched happily... and woke up as a nice shapely lady roo with pouch and tufted tail. Whatever happened with that, Kelvie? :)
My two favorite quotes on "American" football:
"Soccer is a collective game with moments of individualism. In American football you get a lot of running, running, running, catching and then everyone stands around touching each other. Soccer is the sport of internationalism. While you continue to play American football, you'll find you're only playing with yourself!"
-Billy Bragg
"American football features two teams of men dressed up like astronauts who fall on each other in between beer commercials."
-Paraphrased from The Economist of London

Sports strike me as completely pointless and a complete waste of time.
When I went to open house with my mom, there was this other parent child in the room and while we were listening to the teacher, the child and mother were just talking. Then the mother asks "when is the game?" while the child is going off about how she's gonna transfer classes because she just wants her health credit and that that class won't acredit her for it. And when she strutted through the door I heard telling her mom about how she thought number whoever has a cute whatever.
Seriously, these sports are more top-priority than their own education! It's sickening.
And I think little league games are the only things worse than that scene above. :P

Their are those who value a more physical education over a mental one. There are people who are just built for it, as well.
Also, life long sports players tend to be in great physical condition and strong enough to do necessary labor.
I'm more of a bookworm, myself, though....
