So.
Creativity has its swings, just like almost anything else in life, and right now art is not on top of the list in my priorities (even though not by choice). I've been thinking for a while to close the first chapter of this series here, just after the party. I have various ideas about the followup of this events but, I'm afraid, the fact that it took nine months to dish out this speaks volume about my ability to pursue this project.
Is this the end? I don't know, I don't think so, but I cannot say for sure.
In any case I'd like to thank everyone who has enjoyed this comic, because every comment and fav has made me proud of my work and that's awesome. Thanks to everyone then.
'tilll next time!

If this does end up being the absolute last page I can't think of a better way that you could have done it.
The middle far left scene of Anubis sitting is wonderful, makes me want to come up behind and hug ( he'd probably hear me coming long before I got to him though. ) The next two middle panels showing Seth are also very good and make him look quite attractive. I did 95 pages in a comic of my own (Savannah Spots) and recently had to put it on the shelf because an increasing number of paid projects had to take priority. Its hard to leave projects behind that you become attached to or like but if you can't do it anymore then that's the way its going to have to be. If you find a way to keep doing these then that'll be great, I certainly won't complain about seeing Anubis and Seth like this again!

My wife found this comic a couple months ago, I think, and it's been a lot of fun to read. You have really good art and an interesting take on the Egyptian pantheon. I do hope to see more in the future.
In the meantime, you have my best wishes as you move on to other things. Good luck with everything and hopefully we'll get some more awesome art from you later. :D

I really liked your comic, but since It's been nearly 2 years and it doesn't look like it's going to continue I was wondering if you as the creator could answer some questions on some stuff about this last page.
So when Anubis Ask's about Mortality to Seth, and say things are about to change.
So does Anubis want to become Mortal as a way to get under the skin of Horus and the other gods, and what does he mean by things are about to change? Does he want to make the other gods Mortal as well as part of another scheme of his? Since it doesn't look like we're going to get a continuation to this story it would be nice to get some closure from the creator, if that's possible.

Thank you for the appreciation of my small comic! Sorry for not answering earlier: I'm not really active on this (or any actually) account anymore.
Anubis is referring to Seth's scheme which he had learnt from Thesan. Believing that immortality has put averyone in a languid static state of boredom and general lackadaisiness Seth is planning to render all gods mortal: "with life comes chaos!"
This is briefly the main event on which the next chapter would have revolved.
I hope this sates your curiosity!

hmm, I thought this would answer my question but it seems to bring up even more questions. If god's can be mortal I assume a bulk of the humor would rely on the fact that they can now get hurt and and are faced with inconveniences on not being able to use their godly powers, though I wonder what other side effects this would have had, can god's grow old? grow fat and develop health problems? can gods die at this point? and If so what happens to gods after they die?
I had not really got in any detail with the next storyline, I just had rough ideas. More than lose their powers it would more likely to be just not being immortal anymore and having to deal with aging and stuff, yes. As far as what would have happened at the death of a god at that point, well, the underworld was an actual place in my comic so, probably, they would have ended up there. What about death gods? Inception.
Just kidding, probably at the death of a death god a new one would have followed, I suppose. I really did not plan so far ahead, also Seth's plan would have been in motion, not complete yet at the beginning of book two. Maybe he wouldn't have been successful, or maybe yes. I guess I'll never know.
