Impish Sole (Animated)
I made this little animation as sort of an experiment a while ago. Just screwing around with the puppet tool in After Effects. Nothing too fancy but it was fun.
Also I just noticed, there is absolutely no category for just animations on this site. There's a Flash category but this is not a flash file.

Like I said, I used the Puppet Tool for this, which converts an image to a mesh that can be stretched and bent, while the foot, shin, thigh and body are on several layers. After Effects can be a bit confusing at first but I really like working with it, though I also had several classes on that (Motion Graphics, Title Animation). Still, I'd say it is more accessable than Flash, you just can't really draw in After Effects, it's not meant for that.
Which I understand. It's an "After Effects" program (HOW 'BOUT DAT SHIT?!), so it's meant to make things look nice after it's been created elsewhere :) I just see more and more people using it to make animated looks, and it's something I'm wanting to get more into. But I can't stand animating in this old copy of Photoshop, and I just want something I can use to make things like this in.
First of all, thank you, I'm glad to hear that you like the animation and even enjoyed my stories, I really appreciate that. I'm not much of a writer, at least I don't consider myself to be one. I might write a story again at some point but I just can't guarantee it, since drawing is the way I usually express my creativity. I thought I had commented on this previously, but this is absolutely amazing ^^ even for a very short animation, it's still a delight to see x3 what with Sprite having that cute, smug face up there and that huge foot covering up the whole camera, hehe
