^^; but for real pokemon actually used the multiple worlds as canon story. implying gba ruby and sapphire and all past game actually did happen and the remakes are just different universes where mega stones exist.

yeah but could of just been another mewtwo XD infinite worlds theory just like how there is now 2 lucario and 2 charizards
or... what if mewtwo has always been female and just used a males voice in our minds? ,he actually has female human DNA inside him cause he is a clone of a dead cloned girl and a fossil from the eye lash of mew.

they used charizard X cause he was the more iconic charizard people wanted and it was easier to just do that rather then make 2 different forms.
He also was featured in Pokemon Origins
And again used by a main character in Pokemon XY Mega Evolution special
its just a more famous version so they used it more. They probably will just use mewtwo y but I liked to think they would do something special for mewtwo... for well the mewtwo fans plus you have to get both game versions ^^;

My personal "ingame" Mewtwo theory is that Prime moved his cloning Vats to Cerelian cave. By the time a young trainer has become strong enough to reach the cave, a new clone has emerged and grown to maturity by training amongst the savage Pokemon living in the cave!
As for the two separate Mewtwos with the films.... well their flashbacks are similar... but different, I believe another evil team attempted to recreate the Rocket experiment, changing a few details so the resulting creation would be less savage... but she still escaped!
