Since you were critiquing my artwork.. should I give you a critique as well? I need more people to do that for me, but I think I should also do it more as well..
only if it's wanted, of course. :) I understand why people don't want critique on pieces where they weren't doing their best (in their minds, and I'm not implying that you weren't trying.) anyway, I thought it was more polite to ask rather than to outright give you unwanted advice. ^_^

Well, I guess by really studying what I see in other's artwork that could be improved, I'm also improving my own art as well so I can watch for those same mistakes.. :3 really I don't have too much to say, it's just the foreshortening.. I thought that it was really good at first but than I noticed that the viewer should be looking more downward at him for his arm to be so long.. and instead of his feet looking further away, they just looked tiny to me o.o I think that they were a bit to small (the feet) and so the drastic difference between the size of the hand and the feet with the middle of his body didn't add up to me. Really, I can't draw people, I haven't even drawn at this angle but I think those are the only parts that throw it off. I like his middle- his hand, his face, and how he's holding the mike. I just think maybe even if the hand was moved more towards the viewer it might not even make the feet look odd-ish anymore.. but that's just my perception :)
I liked critiquing this, I don't critique things often enough and find myself just complementing pieces before actually taking the time to see all the flaws (and the beauty in them) so thank you for that.

Good points! I can see what you mean, but I think I might've had something in mind other than what you were percieving. You're right though -- the size difference is pretty exaggerated. I kind of wanted that though. I'd give you examples of perspective images in where that's been carried out, but I can't be arsed to go find any :\
In anycase, thanks for your pointers, I appreciate them. And, um. That's not a he! That's a she -- its a self portrait, haha. XD
