Oh dear, it appears that Dream has encountered Nightmare Moon. After the taking of Celestia, Fluttershy, and Twilight, it seemed that 'ol Nightmare had put her target on a certain hypnotist. After all, having a hypnotist in her mind controlled army would mean a threat less, and a powerful new asset as well. Surely Nightmare will put Dream to good use, namely by ordering her to hypnotize others into obedient and loyal Shadowbolts!

The Shadowbolts were created in the pilot episode of the first season of MLP FIM. They were minions of Nightmare Moon, the villain in the first two episodes, and were made out of pure shadows, so they're not real ponies. Fan theory suggests that they are ponies, but taken over by the shadows, and thus turning into the Shadowbolts. They are Pegasi, fast fliers, and the evil counterpart of the Wonderbolts, a flying group known and adored in Equestria. The Shadowbolts tried to lure Rainbow Dash into joining them, thus becoming one of Nightmare's lackeys, but she didn't accept their offer and flew off.

Well, in a few of my other RPs, she does have someone who she cares about, usually the character the other player plays. But mostly, she would control pretty much all the ponies, no exceptions. Young, old, female, male, Pegasi, Unicorn, all of them.
