hmm to run away from the bad side of your dreams only causes more issues, going by it psychologically for one to be fine and accept what has happened to them they first have to admit to the darker repressed past and accept it to move on, so gemma and zees running away from the bug is her mind trying to force her to not face the repressed memories which will not help her D:
