With powers gross enough to make Hedorah blush, her primary defenses are spewing septic bile and a noxious breath bad enough to wilt foliage. She absorbs radiation through her spikes and takes frequent "dust baths" in toxic dumps to charge up, probably rolling around like some huge, awkward chicken.
