Chinese New Year themed piece commissioned by
of her character Tabor giving us some of that famous goat energy! This year's element is Wood, so I worked that into the frame; the lucky flowers were primrose and carnation, and the lucky colors were purple, red and brown - got em' all in. :D Those dreads were a lot of fun to work with too. lol Goat, sheep or ram, call it what you will, but this guy is ready to celebrate 2015!

Well, at least working brown in was kind of a gimmie, considering his color scheme. ;)
I really like how tastefully composed this whole piece is. The wooden frame and the two flowers in the corner add a very sophisticated and traditional touch to this piece, and then the straight angles of the bamboo and the frame nicely contrast all the curves of the hair, horns, and the figure's pose overall. I also like how real that woolly texture on his legs, arms, and chest seems! And of course I enjoy the energy in this piece, especially in his hair. Overall this is very fun to look at, both in the details and overall composition.
Thank you so much for working on this for me! I'm very pleased with the end result here, and I hope you like it too. :)
