Here's HMC (Hospital Corpsman, Chief Petty Officer) Mindy Sorrel.
Mindy is the ship's medic, and as such sees to the overall health of the entire crew. She is a gentle soul, with nimble fingers and the ability to sense the flow of life energies. Mindy also has a very bad burn scar across her back from a narrowly missed bolt from a R'Hinsi plasma canon, and she is quite self-conscious about it. In the story, after meeting some unusual aliens, the old wound is totally healed along with her self-esteem.
I drew this using my usual mechanical pencils, graphite stick, etc, on regular paper.
