And because it seems folks wanna know, here's Kass' little breakdown:
Oh Elim you’re the best, the best friend anyone in the whole world could ask for, please please never leave, I need you so much, you’ve always been there for me when things are hard and I’m never gonna forget it and you’re honest and reliable and strong and also a lot bigger than me right now so that probably counts for something-

But wouldn't that be the interesting thing? Elim is trying to appeal to Kassen's situation, but at anytime Kass could turn on him and say, "You're not the scav bitch here!" Thus, driving them apart. If Kass is losing himself in all this, then I don't think he wants to lose his friends as well.
Yeah, it's probably time to get some exposure outside of FA and DA, now that there's a decent amount of pages in the archives. I've been out of the webcomic list lifestyle for years, though! I know TopWebComics is still around, but are there any others you might know of?
Well excellent! I make it a point to slow down the plot sometimes to show off some characterization, so it's good to know it's achieving the desired effect.
Also, of all the main characters, we probably know the least about Elim at the moment. He's the type to not stand out too much in most situations, but he absolutely has his own stuff going on, oh yes~

Man, if I draw a page that doesn't have at least one major facial/body expression in it, I'm doing something wrong.
And on that note, I'm usually making an approximation of whatever face I'm drawing, so this applies to me: http://www.awkwardzombie.com/index......p;comic=072108

Yes. i mean, just her face ;>
I heard that prostitution is one of the oldest profession in human history (others are thief and hunter). and those will never disappears ' v '
I'm ok with prostitutes. Pretty sure there will be lots of prostitutes in Planet Tal. ...Just look at Lime and Priley >_>

Totally agree with ya! I also believe that most of what's considered "negative" about prostitution is the dangers that come from it being a mostly unregulated thing, which leaves sex workers vulnerable to abuse, forced sex work, and so on. Likewise, banning alcohol just means that there will be a lot more untrustworthy batches of illegally-made moonshine; it doesn't stop the behavior, it just makes it more dangerous. So all in all, I'm for the legalization of sex work, as long as the workers are given regulations and protections.
And yes, she is totally wondering what's going on with those two over there~
Her face actually lost a bit of detail during the resizing process, so here's that panel full size: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/15925441/

I'd seem some references to past trials and a long-time friendship. I'm just also really glad to see Elim working so hard to take care of Kass during this major life change. Makes me smile.
Besides, Kass is adorable in that last panel. Just...don't tell him I said that. He needs to stay focused on adapting. :)

That is in fact a type of flail that's been used historically as much as the other, more well-known types, but everyone seems to forget about! It's like having a metal bat... that you can swing at an enemy from several feet away! http://imgur.com/SftZ9dM
It allll depends on whether it's demonstrable, and/or able to produce profit in some way. If so, the magic-user gets rushed into the most lavish quarters and treated like royalty. If not, well the mines are always looking for new blood because of the high fatality rate!
... My friend showed me this comic and I was like, "Okay so between the title and the fact that the first page I saw, and the actual first page, there were very little of the same characters, that must mean one of them gets turned INTO something on this page.... Okay." And then I started reading this... Aside from nearly every page ending with a joke (which gives this whole story this comedic edge that IS FUCKING KILLING ME HOLY SHIT YOU ARE SO FUCKING FUNNY) and the obvious enjoyment I get from TF/TG works (is it a fetish? Is it wish fulfillment being played out before my eyes? Who knows, but my why boner doesn't care) I can say this much.
This is like the 4th or 5th furry comic I have ever read, and only the second non-sexual one. And it is fucking incredible, and one of my favorite webcomics already. Valsalia, you rule so hard.

Well that's just awesome! That many strong, positive adjectives in a row gives me a good idea of how much you're enjoying this story, which really makes me happy.
I knew I was heading down a bit of a niche path when I decided to feature TG/TF, but mostly non-sexually, and also that regardless of however serious the content is, that the focus is entertainment rather than drama (as one can either laugh or cry about how awful the world can be at times, and I'd much rather tell a story involving laughing about life's absurdity).
I figured that if I told the kind of story I myself would like to read, it would not only be more fun to draw, but might also really appeal to some readers. Looks like it's doing that! So thanks for letting me know; it's a real motivator.

"I will break them." Is that a Lord of the Rings reference?
Oh, isn't Elim such a good pal? I think Kass was really needing to hear this, right now. When I think about it, I don't believe Elim is required to come along with Kass on his diplomatic mission. It's likely that he came along by personal choice for Kass in his time of need.
And you better watch out, Elim, because yinglets are cryers. And huggers. And when you get caught in the middle of a crying yinglet hug, there is no escape!
