A roo has a pretty good height advantage in the scrub. They can easily be as tall as a human and even taller if they stretch at it. One of the reasons I really like roos is that they are already anthro to an extent. Bipedal stance, handpaws, etc. They are even have a similar mass to our own.

Now what I'd give to have that thumpy tail and feet to be the roo I want to be...
