The last panel of OOPs #10, without being halved in size for display. I seem to have a habit of drawing too much detail that loses a bit of definition during the resizing phase.

Haha, excellent! A fair amount of long-snouted creatures here on Earth have those, mostly to assist in biting down without getting in the way of the toothed area.
And if you wanna know what Kass is saying, go to page #10 and hit refresh; it's now written in the text underneath. :)

I always thought it was beer, and considering the mug is a bar mug design rather than a smooth-faced coffee mug, I think it's just officially "coffee," in the same sense that when some games get ported over from another country, a bar will mysteriously change into a "coffee house."
But anyway, it does kinda tire me out! But it ends up looking pretty so I just go and do it again. :D Just tryin' to find that sweet spot between quality and speed these days.

This page took me around 12 hours, which is the general average for an OOPs page. If I were to point out my biggest difficulty as an artist, it would be that I feel I work more slowly than most other artists that draw at my style/skill level. And it's either because I'm just naturally cautious and restrained while drawing, or I may be spending more time on small details than is necessary. Or both.
On one hand, I love love love detailed, busy, beautifully-painted stuff like the authors of B.I.B.L.E. and The Meek go for, but they also spend lots and lots of time crafting each page, which means they can only update every 3-4 weeks or so. On the other hand, there's the simpler styles of Questionable Content or Gastrophobia that may not be crafted with extreme detail or carefully-perfected linework, but that allows the author to put out a good bunch of panels each day.
So I want to show off lots of detailed backgrounds all over the place, but I also can't wait to get ahead in the story; there's so much to tell! These days I'm just trying to find that magical balance between the two.

Lol, thank you. But I do try subtle differencesin almost all my things... Then there are the errors. probably one of the worst things, I seem to always have a mistake and everything I've drawn. Noticing only after I've submittedit, some times a quick fix, other times I have to let it slid and hope people don't notice. <^\/^”>
