fried sunflower seeds (undertale sketch things 1)

So I kind of wanted to just do some “sketches” (I guess it’s a little more than that, but a little polish without becoming bogged down is more of what I’m going for) to do some quick “Undertale” related gags. I think some of the later ones will still be kind of funny even without the context given, so it’s not like you’ll be in the dark if you don’t check out the game.
Strangely enough this is the second time in like a week a talking plant has gotten “rekt” in comic I’ve done. Well at least this one deserves it XD

Heh yeah, I figured if it wasn't an 8-bit game on a shoe-string budget Toriel would have some pretty slick moves (I mean the combat is abstract but that doesn't mean it couldn't be stylized). I originally had her kind of shooting a giant flaming fist green lantern style, but I thought the good ol' (→ ↓ ↘)+HP would be more entertaining.
Yeah he's a draconequus, but we rarely see the dragon part come out in Discord, the only one cannon to the series (though given how ridiculously far his reality warping powers go, and what type of elemental he is, there's not much room for it I suppose). Then again maybe discord is a draconequus the same way sombra is a unicorn in the sense that both a serious one of a kind mutant departures.
And I'm glad you noticed the "toxic soul". I was going to make it dark,metallic or green, but I found the slight discoloration from red to purple, combined with glowy-drippyness gave the correct impression of being kind of corrupt/toxic, but not necessarily evil per say.

pfft yeah. it would be kind of funny in a morbid way if stheno kept accidentally setting stuff on fire and hurting people because he's made of extremely dense concentrations of magic and matter whereas these critters are basically made of magical Plasticine to the point where it becomes a genocide run.
though given the lore of the game I wonder if it would really be seen as that considering that would not count as the malicious intent behind gaining "LoVe"?
