So I guess you can see what I’m goingruin look into next. Since it’s about to come out, I hope I don’t have to explain too much about “Undertale” since it’s been green-lit and is no longer just an obscure demo. It’s a pretty interesting idea, and has a nice system of RPG combat where you’re not just relegated to clicking menus and rolling the dice. Oh yeah and there’s a mascot that is total furry bait (don’t worry, miss Toriel will be safe for awhile, I have a few gags I want to do before anything weird happens)
I think I might want to do more B&W/inks on these so I can knock out more of the concepts in a short amount of time, (but then again, I can probably just put flats on and have it add a little to it...hmm)
Anyways quit being a baby and get out of that crater Stheno, you know it didn’t hurt that bad! Another fun fact is stheno’s tail and all of it’s segments are able to neatly separate and re-attach without any kind of magic being involved? now if that were to hit you then maybe you'd have a reason to still be in the crater.

anyways it's this guy http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11316249/ I really wanted to flesh him out more and I think this will be a more interesting way to do it. you know, I actually had an idea to have him hang out with fluttershy for a bit, but that seems so cliche' after season 3 (I had the idea before that episode actually).
BTW slowing it down makes it look kind of bad so it's going to have to stay fast. A shame because of some of the details I put in there, but Meh, I view it mostly as a practice exercise. Live and learn and all that

yeah I figured there would be an explosion of art after "power ponies", but I think the flutter-bat transformation that occurred the following week kind of stole any momentum that would have had :P . I mean I was kind of disappointed in the transformation anyways, it started out with so much promise, but then all the tone and veins got downplayed; I can't completely blame them as they probably realized they bit off more than they could chew and simplified the muscle groups to make it easier to animate (in the comic book though, they do it right, and how the show probably would have would they not had to animate it).
Oh BTW you can slow down any gif you want here http://ezgif.com/speed I actually had to use it to increase the speed since image-ready's default speed is extra slow for some reason.
Having never heard of this game before I went and played the demo to get the full context of the animation, and I have to say I can’t wait to see what you have in store for Toriel and maybe a couple of the other monsters. It’ll also be nice to finally Stheno in action as most of his appearances so far have been in cameos and parodies. I guess this will be a parody too but it’ll be more or less about Stheno.
I never expected that to happen the other way around; ie. where someone didn't know about Undertale saw my art based around it and actually checked it out. that's pretty cool, thanks for letting me know.
Yeah as far as the positions I put Stheno in, few of them are dead serious. I think in particular I kind of wanted a comic or something where he gives a "you're all puppets...tangled in strings..." type of monologue (you know about the new avengers movie right? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmeOjFno6Do ) to the mane 6, and that would be framed as dark/serious, but only because I imagine it would look cool (and I've never shown a heavily damaged Stheno before).
I'll give a slight spoiler and say a lot of my favorite gags are based around the fact that a) Toriel enjoys the company of children b) While Stheno's build is not child-like, his height could be construed as such, and given Toriel's questionable eyesight without glasses...
