My personal favorite from the original was Colossus.. I never figured out one of his maneuvers if it was proximity or just a random thing he did every so often..
but I always delighted when he would just outright grab some mook by the head and fling him across the screen where he just crashes out of sight and out of mind. I kept always trying to get him to do it, and never, to this day, knew whether or not it was just something that happened, or it was a combination of stick and buttons ...

The only good move Cyclops really had was his optic blast, and that was really easy to avoid (either by ducking or jumping over it). He was a horrible hand-to-hand fighter (Wolverine and Colossus were much better), and slow on top of that. Then again, maybe it was just the machine I used. I just could never get him to avoid anything, and his punches/kicks were never that strong.
What's even funnier is that they did the same thing in the remake for consoles and smartphones, just using a different actor since they couldn't get/didn't have the rights to the original voice. Also the achievements reference them too. For example one achievement is to literally have the White Queen welcome you to die. Luckily, the newer versions don't have a set limit of continues, and you can play the 4 or 6 player cabinets, and even the Japanese versions of the game, where instead of taking your health away first for the mutant powers, it takes away the orbs first, and there are also health-ups to collect. AND there is up to 6 player online multiplayer, which can get crazy fun.
