This is a big romantic commission for 
Swandog and her husband 
Sayh.
This illustration is very symbolic for them and draw for their anniversary. The picture depicts their characters: Osprey named Lett ( Sayh's char) and Albatross Rime ( Swandog's char). The story illustrates their favorite song "Islands" by Mike Oldfield. Below you can see the Maltese Islands, the place that they are adore both :3

I am sorry I have not written a comment to this picture sooner. I wanted to wait until I had some time off and felt more relaxed, so I could give a better comment than "WOW! This was amazing!"
But, Wow! this was amazing! Absolutely stunning!
While my "main" character in the fandom is my panduck griffin, it is no secret that that character is more a "made for fun" type character that ended up so cute & silly, I sorta adopted him. But I really feel like a bird, and have always loved the beautiful ospreys, and had an osprey character for a long time, and decided to bring him back. I feel closer to him spiritually than I do panduck, and that for that reason, seeing artwork of him becomes very special.
This rendering of him is absolutely perfect, if is like you took a picture of what I dream of being when I am him. I have been lost in this image several times, just looking at different details. So many details! *OVO* Lost, not just in Lett, but also in the beauty of his albatross mate, Rime.
And then, there is the colours and the landscape. That blue! The way it colours our feathers.
The entire image is just so perfect, I can't really find words to describe it. Thank you for this wonderful artwork! I really hope we will be able to commission you again!

This is truly incredible; the sky and the light of the moon, those stars and this angle of the horizon. This reminds me of a dreamscape with the clarity of the stars shining so crisply. I can almost hear the wind rushing by as the only sound as they fly united so closely in an intricate dance celebrating something beautiful and intimate out far above the world.
