I was just at work, when I saw a flock of turkey just amble past the doors. I look outside and was immediately challenged by two of them. I literally got within 3 feet of these birds.

This is so cool to see.

During mating season, the males are dangerous. I saw one attacking a small British sports car that interpreted the blowing of its horn as a challenge. It wasn't until the thing attacked the tire and had the tire blow out in its face that it stopped. Then it ran off into the woods.

I never see them here in Sheboygan, but I do see them up north at my Mom's place in Oconto county.

There is a lot of them.

Of course, you could in November, in the freezing rain go out to hunt them, with a bow and arrow.
(I always think those guys are simply nuts.)
