Ton walked through the clearing he was so used to on the way back from the river by his tiny hole in the base of an oak tree that served as his home. Carrying his thimblefull of water, he hummed a tune. Around halfway through the clearing, he saw a mouse laying down, moaning and clutching his head. He dropped his pail and ran over. Dropping to his knees, he put his hands on the mouse's hands, and immediately pulled them away, feeling a searing heat. "Gah! What in the....hey, are you awake at all? Can you hear me?", Ton asked loudly.
Kyle was in agony and looked quite unconscious but could barely hear the stranger speak to him. But all he could mumble was "...It....Burns..." he mumbled in pain as he looked like he was in some sharp pain.
Ton carefully cupped his hands in the water that was left in his pail, and brought it to the mouse's lips. He opened the mouse's mouth a crack and dribbled water down his throat. "If you can hear me, make sure you swallow. I need to cool you down and get you to my house.", Ton said slowly.
Kyle somewhat heard the voice but was hesitant to have the water in his mouse at first and mumbled "No....D-Don't...Test on me..." he said as he drank the water hesitantly. Once he did he just lay still but was breathing and fortunately, his temperature had decreased a little.
Ton grabbed the mouse's hand and brought his arm around his shoulder, then started leading him toward the hole in the tree. Once inside, Ton put the mouse on his small couch, poured water in a small cup made of an acorn and put it by the couch. He got a wet towel and sat by the mouse, wiping his forehead and trying to keep him cool.

Kyle stirred slowly and shivered a little but the cool towel did comfort him when he was unconscious but he still mumbled things like "...Keep it away....Don't inject me...." and multiple other things that seemed to be hard to tell. But as the mouse continued to wipe his forehead, he began to look a bit more relieved.
Ton kept wiping, then grabbed the cup and held it to the mouse's mouth. "You've gotta try to take a drink yourself. I have to make sure you're alright to be alone while I get more water.", Ton said softly.
Kyle was hesitant to drink but drank the necessary parts anyways. He looked like he was going to wake up soon after having recovered from the cool water.
Ton went and filled the cup again, then left the house to fetch more water. When he got back to his house, the mouse was still on his couch, seeming to be a little more relaxed. He poured the fresh water into a tank and wetted another cloth to put on the mouse's head.
As time passed on and he had his head cooled off and his temperature lowered to normal, he became coming to "...Un...gh..." his closed eyes moved about.
Ton got a bit closer to the mouse. "Hello? Are you alright? Can you say something?", he said hurriedly
Kyle slowly opened to reveal light red colored eyes. His vision showed him two figures that seemed to connect to each other and eventually, he only saw one figure and felt a sharp headache in his head "...Ow...." he saw the mouse and mumbled "Where....Where am I...?"
