Abbey and mister tickles live in a post apocolyptic landscape. They exist during a fallout. There fore mutations are normal in humans. Abbey has a few deformities such as swollen fore arms. Elongated ears (Sheep ears) weak legs, and blindness.

Mr. Tickles is a form of mutated monster. It..or he found abbey outside of a city weak and helpless and took pity on her. He is highly intelligent and speaks telepathically only to abbey. He often carries her around on his back. Describing the landscape to abbey, mishaping it into a wonderland to misguide abbey seemingly to keep her happy.

Abbey affectionately named the beast mr tickles after her first encounter which started with the beast curiously poking at abbey and ending with him tenderly tickling her with his sharp talon like claws.

Unfortunately mr.tickles has to go on "Food runs" as he calls them to abbey. Where he will eat anything from plants to humans. If he doesn't get food he becomes Ravenous and that sometimes leads him to missplace abbey running off so as not to hurt her.

Abbey is an eccentric girl who left town after her mother passed from her mutations. She was soon lost in a desert wasteland that had used to be a city. That's where mr. tickles found her. She hates shoes and always wears overly long socks. She says she wants to have feet just like mr tickles because they're funny and floppy. She can easily accept this reality of mr tickles being her guardian and friend and living in a "whimsical land" because she is only 4 years old.
