Meet Mario and Luigi Mario. The Mario Brothers. Some bastiches may tell ya they've been fired from every plumbin' gig in Brooklyn. Others may tell ya they was fired for tryin' t'unclog a toilet with a flamethrower and possibly beaten an old man with a wrench for givin' 'em lip.

Some may even tell ya that they got a pathological hatred for them... whatchamacallem'... Reptiles.

But I'll tell ya all that and somethin' else. They ain't in Brooklyn any more. Last week they just upped and disappeared. Good thing too. Last I heard the cops wanted some words with 'em. Maybe they're in a better place now. Some place that needs 'em. Cause we sure don't need 'em 'round here.

Yeeeeeaaaah... Don't ask. I was waking up this morning when suddenly I thought "How would I revamp Super Mario to be badass and awesome?"

The answer came up with? "Give Mario a flame thrower, a trenchcoat, and pyromanical tendencies. Give Luigi a huge ass wrench and a tendency to beat things senselessly at the drop of a hat."

My response to that answer, "I need to draw that. Then I need to draw Princess Peach as a hot goth after that."
