I like your take on all of it. It'd be nice for them to me a fantastic HD update with more personalized graphics for each character like this, giving each one more personality just through their personal definition and battle stance while adding to the story as well. (not that I'm detracting from the original, which is still phenominal).

Also; this would be the point where a lesser man would demand the other 8 (10) characters in similar styles, seeing how you'd do them.

Gengi Glove/offering is for Strago, Noob.

I always thought Strago was for keeping my seat on the airship warm...

Dual wielding elemental rods with an offering often yields significantly more than 8 measly hits, and rod blasts aren't weakened the way that weapon strikes are.

But you throw on a couple special-case weapon (like the Atma [Or Ultima depending on which version] Weapon) and you end up doing the highest damage in the game with no defense reduction on attacks. Seems kind of wasteful to use it with Rods, regardless of how much I like playing with them.

Try it. You might change your mind when you're getting 2-4 free shots of pearl and 2-4 free shots of gravity along with the weapon damage.

I may have to! I've spent plenty of time decimating even the toughest enemies in the game with Terra alone, though. Two Ultima weapons (thanks to the android port of saving clear data.) she consistently does 79992 damage, which thanks to the game's limitations is about as much as most enemies have total (and even then I walked through the Dragon's Den and declared myself supreme emperor of the game with her alone...aside from the one gimmicky boss that had to kill himself.) I guess my doubts come from the randomness of the rods casting ability themselves, and just how underwhelming the physical damage itself would manage to be...unless you actually manage to simultaneously pump his strength and his magic attack. Even with Valor it only applies to the initial attack off multi-staged attacks.

Oh man, this is amazing in EVERY WAY. All the weapons bring back such great memories! (That Fire Claw was with me on Sabin for 99% of the game, I swear.)

Ohh, Wow! I expected something different when clicking on the Sword thumbnail, I can't express how positively surprised I was! Final Fantasy 6 has, and always will be, my favourite FF of all times. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you for this pleasant surprise!
