Never thought to make a cake mix conversion to a small biscuit type of dessert. I would wonder what the final texture would be inside. Rather clever use of a box mix indeed.

I've seen box mixes used as flavoured pancake and pikelet substitutes. The usual of converting them into different types of cakes (large and small), fruit and other items added to make an even bigger cake and even use them to make trifles or bases for bigger and better projects etc.

A good example of a boxed cake mix being used as a base ingredient. *hugs*

It's easy enough to substitute a from-scratch cake mix.. but what on earth would one substituted whipped topping with? That stuff is all sorts of creepy.
