Looking through some of my older sketchbook dumps, I realized that a character of mine, Alfred, was in fact very furry-like. Here's the description I gave him from DevArt because I am a lazy good-for-nothing. =D
"Made this charcter a long time ago, tried him again today. He's a chameleon-like mutant with the power of invisibility. He was originally designed to be an X-Men. I had seen another "Chameleon" fan-character for the series right here on devart, but it was not a physical mutation (not to this extent, in any case).
After doing the rough sketch of what I had in my noodle, I realized the bloke had very few "chameleon" features, save the scales that would be a bitch to sketch in (notice the attempt on the tail and feet). To fix this, I gave him chameleon hands. Not that I'm an expert on the things, but if memory serves they have grasping hands, so I incorperated it. Alfred can climb walls like a gecko, but I need to preserve the proper lizard from which he was derived.
I also realize that the feet are way from left field if we want to get persnickety about animalistic realism (two points for needless smart words!), but they're what I imagined him with. I may edit the concept later."
