There was a series by Disney called Gargoyles. It is not a series I'm familiar with as I didn't watch it much and I'm largely out of the loop.

My art minion,  brooklynx came from that fandom and still knows all the names of creators, actors, etc. Has gone to the cons. And he had his own persona as, well, a gargoyle.

Until now, I had never drawn a Disney style gargoyle and it was a fun challenge to try this one. The off balance lurch to the side in preparation to launch into the air was fun to do.
