One of my more ambitious projects, I really love Deathwing from World of Warcraft (yes I am a veteran player, haha. Sadly don't have time for it now though). I mostly I wish I had his voice though, but I love the fiery contrast of his design, so I thought I'd give it a go. I wanted to practice my digital painting, so I did the best I could with this fanart. I didn't make him super black though, I made him very illuminated by a red glow (made it a little easier for me to work with at the time).
Anywho it's kind of old now and I put some sketchy touches on it too. Didn't turn out 100% the way I wanted it too, but it was my first time drawing him and every reference was different (it's odd), so that didn't help too much, haha.
