Coffee the Human

Quick story:
Growing up, Coffee was always able to see spirits. They didn't frighten her, and in fact seemed so much like real beings, she was frequently caught talking and playing with these beings.

She works at a coffee shop right now, where she got her nickname for making the best coffee in Mevadel. Recently, the spirits she has seen have begun to frighten her. They appear troubled, angered, and instead of intact souls they appear to her now as the way they died (mangled, bruised, etc.).

These new appearances have spooked her, along with the presence of a dark energy, so she visited the nearby psychic Apple for help.


Apple the Canaan Dog

Currently in: Mevadel, East Territory of Glukaus
Quick story:
Apple was born blind, but automatically able to see spirits, auras, and energies. He was also born with 4 guardian angels, as most are, but unlike most, he was exceptionally interactive with his angels. Guardian angels usually leave their charge and return to Heaven by the child's age of reason (considered to be 7), but Apple's oncoming destiny and sensitive personality made his angels decide to stay in his life.

Apple decided to move to Glukaus after his angels told him he had business there. He took a single article of clothing (pictured) and all his belongings and spiritual tools. Apple's psychic shop doubled as his home, but within a year of setting up shop he was robbed. He was discouraged, but his angels told him to stay. Apple continued to help others and give rest to spirits.

Coffee approached him a year later, asking for help to identify a dark entity she sensed was roaming the town. Apple had been sensing this malevolent presence as well, and agreed to help.

Apple will eventually meet Phantom in the second arc of his story, but for now he is helping Coffee track Makke Brey.



Phantom the Dead Pirate Cat

Quick story:
Phantom has no recollection of dying. He has been dead for so long, that he has established influential powers that only help to further his belief that he is alive.
For example, he can grab things and also eat (when he does this, however, the items enter his spiritual realm and disappear from view to those who are alive).

To Seers like Coffee and Apple, Phantom appears as you see him pictured. When he looks at himself however, he is intact.

Phantom will meet Apple later, but he currently haunts the place where he died, Skinning Drop.
