This is what happens when someone tells me how to make felting cotton easier...namely look for long staple unprocessed cotton. I go and find cotton roving and make a doll. This guy is felted 100% Pima cotton roving minus the ears and eyes. The ears contain a bit of acrylic and the eyes are also acrylic. The core of the doll is also 100% cotton, cotton yarn to be precise. He is extremely soft. Cotton roving felts into wonderfully soft material.
