Aeross the Baboon/Mandrill mix and Richard the African Wild Dog!
They met in middle school at a kind of video game fan after school club and have been best friends ever since.
Aeross works at a game store and Richard runs a lil amateur gaming channel.

They're both juniors, and attend high school in Truceville, the Southern Territory of Glukais.
