I imagine the little human Nero being like: "Don't worry Malkin. It's just a Skyrim dragon. I take him"
Turned out really pretty. I like the balance of the picture. It portraits this depressing greyish northern feeling really well. No strongly saturated colors just for the sake of lighting up the picture and having an eye catcher.
Also snow is just awesome!

Oh my gosh... I love the details of the dragon in the foreground...
The scars.... the scales... the teeth... the eye...
The scale patterns look so... "realistic" I guess you could say... BECAUSE EVERYONE KNOWS WHAT DRAGONS LOOK LIKE, MKAY!!??
--- Lol.. But yeah... how the side scales on his neck are nice and tight, sleek, and smooth. But then you have the bottom part of his neck where it has the sorta plate-style scales... a little more loose looking.
Then there's the spot just a little bit behind his shoulder, where his scales look a bit softer and even almost skin-like I guess you could say? Maybe a weakspot? :x
It's just totally awesome how you detail so many different spots on the dragon, and it really adds to the amazingness of this piece...
In other words... Too much scaliness. 11/10 - IGN

Oh gosh thanks! Yeah, I've always loved varying up the scale patterns on different parts of the body of a dragon or other beast - makes for a more interesting creature. And with a ref that showed only blue color and no scale detail. I went nuts. Thanks again so much for commenting!
Been playing The new skyrim remastered. I got it 3 or 4 days ago.. already lvl21.
i'm curious though, anyone running into random dragons fighting on the road with giants?
Its happened to me twice now.
Other than that, THIS IS AMAZING!!
The Wyvern or Dragon in the backround looks good enough to be concept art for skyrim.
