Land slugs are generally edible, if disgusting, so long as you remember to make sure they are very throughly cooked. Gastropods very commonly carry some of the nastiest parasites to be found in nature - the sort of things that will quite happily eat through your brain and make a little nest inside it. You really need to make sure nothing remains alive inside before eating.
