Hanako the kimono clad fox, amongst red spider lilies as the sun sets.
I don't typically do enough warm color schemes. I wanted to create a sense of the light, by having it spill over the character where the sun is behind her (I believe in photography this is called a bloom). The makeup around her eyes and forehead was inspired by kitsune masks.
This piece will be at the Anthrocon art show
It was done with inks and acrylic paints on 8"x10" illustration board.

The red dots are from Hikimayu https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hikimayu Dunno if it has the same meaning on Kitsune masks.
Wow... Just--Wow. I've been watching your artwork since I believe 2012, and found you to be huge inspiration with your art. I've wanted to create breath-taking pieces such as this, and seeing this drives me to want to do even better. =) I'm sure it would be a treat for anyone to see you draw!
