Everyone screws up. The best friendships have moments where you argue or hurt each other. Any friendship that doesn't have its ups and downs is a fake one. You hurt each other, you hopefully learn from it and forgive each other, grow a bit and move on. Don't kick yourself over stuff. Just be sincere, apologize, do your best to be better and love yourself as much as you can. If your friend is a true friend they'll recognize that you have the best of intentions and forgive you.
