It had been a busy few weeks since Kaiari Had helped Decinder free Charvel from being a statue. The reunion while touching was not nearly enough time and Charvel and Decinder were not alone Charvel almost immediately had to go report to Queen Willow. as He had hoped Willow agreed to allow Charvel to retain his title as forgotten knight. However that meant that He had to receive an education up to date. and his training evaluation showed he was well out of practice. Kaiari being the current best fighter had kindly offered to help him regain his edge though she was constantly being beat black and blue by the where-cat. It had been her Great grandfather had been the one responsible for his petrification. He was certin though that if he had not been released by Kaiari She would have still gained his trust and respect. She had known that he was easily distrated by the feelings and sounds that he was still getting used to. That didnt mean she was going easy on him after a week of training and the completion of his eduction Kaiari still seemed a bit dissatisfied with his progression with the sword she called an end to the training session and offered him a spot to sit under the tree which was providing shade over the sparring grounds. "Charvel You cant improve any more if you cant concentrate" she said Charvel replied "Its still tough getting used to being well..." "alive again?" interrupted Kaiari "I'm not sure thats the complete sum of the issue" Charvel relented "Its been three weeks since Willow sent Decinder to oversee the reconstruction of the castle" Kaiari nodded "I thought as much your training will resume at a later date. Spend some time With Decinder do not return until you have no distractions." "Thank you Kaiari" "Dont thank me yet when you return I expect you in your armor fully polished and your sword sharpend" Charvel was shocked "you mean" Kaiari said "That is why you need to be focused failure will come at great cost" "but" Kaiari waived him off and walked away
Charvel tired and distressed headed to find Decinder.
Decinder had just finished repairing the northern wall of the Castle she sighed "So much work to be done" she looked up as the sky darkened with clouds Immediately dismissed the workers for the day. She sat down under a tree by the path that led to the forgoten capitol she shivered "oh Charvel I wish you could be with me im so cold" "Wish granted my dear" Charvel said as she turned "Charvel!" exclaimed Decinder embracing him" Charvel looked at the castle "Yove made quite some progress the walls are complete. Charvel removed his gauntlets ad his arm guards as Decinder removed his breastplate "I take it kaiari has chanleged you to spar with actual swords?" Charvel nodded "Howd you know "It was my idea It worked when she sparred with me and I wanted to see you sooner" Charvel sighed "I missed you to but that spar will come later until then Im all yours. as they walked to the courtyard where a single oak tree was growing ""Im glad" A flash of lightning lit up the sky as the clouds relased a torrent of chilling rain Decinders leather armor soaked quickly making her feel even colder. Charvel removed her lether and surrounded her with his wings and embraced her drawing her close to share his warmth. Decinder smiled "Maybe we should go inside" Charvel smiled a gentle smile "Its ok Let it rain I havent felt this good since i can remember." Decinder returned his smile as her eys became a firey amber And I never thought Id live to feel as I do" as she embraced Charvel "Im yours always"
