Now that you mention it, this is pretty similar to the reward pics o.o Subliminal ideas from great games of the past?
I never got very far in the original metroid, partly because of not knowing where to go and partly because of the horde of enemies. Now that I've sweeped zero-mission clear I could give it another go.

Metroid on the NES is still pretty different from Zero Mission, mostly because the original has many repeating rooms and wide expanses. Starting with only 30 energy doesn't really help matters either. Ever since the first pic of this character, I got a general sense of 'Metroid' when seeing this. Give her an ample-fitting power suit and you're all set, haha ;^D
To be untouched without much armor, and with her weight, is quite a feat! It shows she's a lot more agile than others would take her for.

Haha, she would be such a sight in a power suit :D Of course the atmosphere has an effect on what she's wearing, being rather practical :)
She's rather muscular under all that softness and coming from a planet of tribal hunters she knows a lot about wrestling against beasts with style. Being scaly might also have something to do with looking unscathed :) (though they really don't show in this as they did in the first one, kinda went the smooth way here)
