Astrid Wants to Try teh Sky-High-Thigh
Worst title ever.
And hey! Didn't you know it's bad form to bait an atrox?
...
Anyway, my trade piece for
epicwang!
I was pretty unhappy with it, but somehow slapping colour over it made it look a lot better. Yay for minimalistic backgrounds!
Hope you like it Sepp!

sorry this reply is so late but I'm redicusly behind on messages.
Anywho, storytime!
I used to go to my family's mountain cabin in Wyoming every summer. One summer my dad, brother, and I were horseback riding through the woods. We came to a small creek and I let my horse drink. It was strikingly quiet (birds weren't even singing) as my brother and father stopped to check the map. After the horse finished drinking, I tried to get him across the creek and for some reason, the horse didn't want to cross. The horse swiveled around trying to avoid stepping into the water and right there at my height, was a severed horse leg nailed to the tree that had been behind me. I screamed and kicked my horse to run on the trail to get away from the leg. We continued the trail ride without seeing anything else out of place. When we came back to the corral to let the horses get back to the herd, we asked the ranch foreman about the horse leg. He said they were having bear problems and a couple horses had to be put down for health reasons, so they were trying to draw the bear into the dude ranch property by using the horse flesh to get the bear in a trap.
It still was really creepy.

Oh god... that is pretty creepy.
I probably would have freaked out a little ...a lot. It's one thing when you expect it, but when you don't... *shivers*
The fact that it was part of a horse probably would have made me feel ill on top of the shock/wtf factor too. :-/
It's a little like this time when my brother and i were kids, playing in the overgrown field next to the farmhouse we lived in... it was kind of a shady area under some trees, by the stone wall that divided the field from the lawn. One of us tripped over something hidden in the grass, and when we looked to see what it was, there was a deer skull grinning up at us! Being little kids, we reacted a bit dramatically and ran screaming. :P Definitely not as creepy as your story... but hey. Storytime retaliation. XD
I still have that skull actually. Somewhere...
