The Kalos region, like France in the real world, was famous for its fine cheeses... And yet, there's not a single Rattata to be found in Pokemon X/Y! It might surprise you to know that there's a good reason for this, though.
Originally, when the casting calls were sent out, massive swarms of excited mice-type Pokemon rushed to the region, hoping to strike the motherlode of yellow dairy deliciousness. However, every last Rattata and Raticate found their path blocked. Not a single one of them could get into the region, unable to cross the impenetrable, looming barrier before them. What could possibly have kept them away? Well... Basically, a college student visiting from Saffron University!
Nobody suspected anything at first. She looked like any other student visiting during a vacation- if anything, she was kind of on the small side! But when she saw all the cheese the region had to offer, she squeaked in pure joy and started to eat... And eat... And eat... And eat... And EAT. No cheese was safe. From the biggest wheel to the tiniest crumb, this ravenous Rattata devoured literally every single speck of cheese in all of Kalos... Then swept the surrounding regions' cheddar supplies for dessert!
Within a single day, the Rattata had cleaned the countryside of all cheese and cheese-like products. With a happy and satisfied sigh, the now-mountainous mouse plopped herself down with a continent-quaking crash, quickly nodding off to sleep.
The poor Rattatas and Raticates who had come to Kalos found their paths blocked by jeans, thighs, and paws so soft and massive that they couldn't even climb them. The few dedicated ones who took the far, far, far easier journey over the mountains she towered over discovered themselves in a land entirely bereft of cheese. By morning sunrise, every last swarm had surrendered, returning home defeated and cheese-less.
Pamela, by contrast, woke up cheerful and refreshed, and wasted no time starting on her breakfast: the rest of the world's cheese.
kazecat returns with a new chubby/booty superstar: Pamela! Although the Fattata is famous for being able to mimic some features of other species, I'm not sure anyone was expecting her to be quite so talented at blocking roads like a Snorlax! She still manages to be absolutely adorable while doing so, however. Just look at that cute mousegal! Don't you just wanna give her a great big chunk of cheese? :3B
NOTE: Pamela's glitchy nature means that she won't hurt anyone even if they get caught underpaw, and any damage she causes to structures and objects will heal back to normal as soon as she steps away. It'll certainly freak a few people out, but there'll be no injuries and no lasting effects. She wouldn't stomp around if people could get hurt from it!
